Our European IT Technology client is keen to recruit a Finance Manager/Business Partner to work on a daily basis with one of their Key Clients. Key to this role is clear and concise interaction and daily communication with this business unit and will require the candidate to manage the day to day control and finance strategy. Overview:
• Accurate Month End management accounts production.
• Forecast and performance reviews with various service leads
• Ensuring accurate billing, booking and revenue recognition.
• Ensuring the production quality Project Accounting.
• Supporting the commercial function as required. Main responsibilities and duties Main Finance point of contact for the Group and specific accounts Business partnering - providing financial advice and update as the main Finance point of contact for the Group and specific accounts and Board Preparing the annual budget on a client by client basis Preparing forecasts and updating them into Essbase on a monthly basis. Variance analysis on movements between monthly forecasts Month end close in Oracle ensuring all accruals, prepayments and revenue are correctly recorded Pricing new business/change requests and ensuring margins are within Corporate limits Modelling new business scenarios for cash and profit impacts Advising on revenue recognition on new business and working with the technical accounting team on complex new deal structures Support the Business Lead in monthly business reviews with the senior management team Cash management ensuring billings, unbilled and aged debts are reviewed and chased Participation on Clients Account Management Board Providing evidence to external auditors for sample testing Creation of MI to improve business insight e.g. profit by client Member of the Finance Managers quarterly forum Key Skills
• Qualified /Part Qualified Accountant (ACCA, CIMA, ICAEW, CIPFA, etc)
• Forecasting and performance reviews experience.
• Strong stakeholders and client relationship management skills.
