I am assisting an instantly recognisable organisation based in the heart of London in their search for an experienced and pro-active Accounts Payable Manager to take full ownership over the Accounts Payable function. Leading a team of two hard working, self-sufficient Assistants, your main responsibility will be to oversee the AP function and ensure all tasks are executed with the highest efficiency until Christmas time with high likelihood of extension. Reporting into the Financial Accountant, your main accountabilities will be: Line management responsibilities of two Assistants. Ensuring all invoices are posted in a timely manner. Payment runs (BACS and international). Liaise with senior stakeholders across the organisation to manage their expectations of payments to be made. Return payments. The ideal candidate will have experience operating in a similar position with line management responsibilities. You will have experience in international and BACS payment runs and take a pro-active approach to all work-related matters.
