Halo Recruit are working in partnership with one of Mansfield's leading accountancy firms to recruit for an experienced Accountant with auditing experience. Working closely with the Directors of the firm, the role demands a high degree of autonomy but with support and coaching from senior members of the team and you will be delivering audit and accountancy services across a diverse portfolio of organisations that predominantly come under the Companies Act but also Charities, Solicitors and Insurance Brokers. The role ideally suits a qualified or newly qualified ACCA / ACA with demonstrable experience in auditing. The ideal candidate will have proven experience conducting audit and accountancy duties for Limited Companies, Sole Traders, Charities and will ideally have experience conducting Client Money Audits for solicitors (SAR) and insurance brokers. Duties of the Role Will Include:
• The planning, fieldwork and completion of assignments for both audit and non-audit client work,
• Preparation of financial and management accounts,
• Coaching junior members of staff,
• Ensuring compliance with internal and external regulatory requirements,
• Managing your own portfolio of clients . _ _ Our Ideal Candidate To be considered for this role, our ideal candidate will: Hold ACCA / ACA qualification Be of a senior accountancy level with demonstrable experience in both auditing and accounts practice Be well presented with good communication skills. Have strong IT Literacy, with experience of using popular accountancy systems, and all Microsoft office packages. Be able to work as part of a team as well as on own initiative. Be able to prioritise workload and deal with several matters alongside each other with the ability to stay calm, focused and organised at all times Hours and Location of Work This is a full time role, based from Mansfield town centre.
