Your New Role Due to another successful year this growing business is looking for a Payroll / Subcontract ledger Clerk Outline duties as below: Reporting to the Finance Director, assisting a clerk with the subcontract ledger desk and weekly payroll for 2 companies:- Weekly payroll main duties:- Manually calculating hours worked from timesheets, entering timesheets into the accounting system against the relevant jobs and then processing the payroll Assisting with RTI and other payroll elements Liaising with employees as necessary Subcontract ledger main duties:- Entering payment certificates and invoices in a timely manner in the accounts system Assisting with payment runs CIS (construction industry scheme) analysis Verifying subcontractors with HMRC Dealing with subcontract queries Ad-hoc requests by the accounts team Personal Specification Strong communication skills Excellent attention to detail As a financial recruitment specialist I enjoy working on a professional and personal level with both my clients and candidates and will strive to find and match the best opportunities for them, even if this role does not fit your criteria please do not hesitate to contact Mike Otter for future roles and opportunities on .
