RoystonJob Family: Finance.To provide finance support to the Global Chief Information Officer (CIO) and the global IT team including Unify (global SAP implementation/roll out). Responsible for all financial aspects of these functions and ensuring they are financially well controlled.Key responsibilitiesProvide financial leadership and support (including advice, insight and challenge) to the CIO, the global IT team including the Unify Transformation Director.Partner with the CIO and Global IT team to provide proactive insightful financial recommendations.Support and undertake forecasting and modelling to help analyse the impact of scenarios on future savings, cash flow and other key metrics, to inform decisions.Assess the commercial viability of investment decisions, articulate financial risks and opportunities and review and challenge budgets for planned expenditure of key IT projects and UnifyReview and challenge post-investment appraisals of key IT initiatives and UnifyAct as a centre of excellence for accounting, reporting and all financial aspects of IT and UnifyManage the IT and Unify cost bases - this encompasses reviewing and challenging the various project leads and departmental managers' costs for their various projects and cost centres (whether capitalised or expensed) and ensuring the costs are properly controlled and continually compared with the amount approved/budgetedManage the timely and accurate production of clear and understandable monthly reports, forecasts, annual budgets and ten year strategic plans for the IT function and Unify to group and relevant sponsors (eg Unify Project Board and IT Leadership Team)Make formal and informal presentations to senior leaders on monthly results, forecasts and plans as requiredHave oversight of the processes and controls around cost management, budgeting and recharges for IT and advise/implement improvementsPartner with all functions and levels within JM to understand business activities and priorities, whilst being proactive and engaging collaboratively to drive improvement in financial performanceEnsure team members are equipped to perform their tasks including systems familiarity and training as appropriateTake on any other duties whenever reasonably instructed.Are you the ideal candidate?You will:Experience of acting as a Finance Business Partner, preferably in a matrix organisationACA qualified (or equivalent)Experience of monthly reporting in a multinationalExperience of management reporting and budgetingExperience of performing post implementation reviews on projects (1)Experience of driving improvements, in processes and reporting, in a global functionDemonstrable experience of influencing key stakeholders at all levelsIT literate with a good knowledge of ExcelHave excellent people management skills including the ability to question and work with senior management as well as to delegate and review workAble to work with and influence at all levels of the organisation and build collaborative relationshipsHow to apply: Internal applicants should advise their line manager before applying.
