Our client, a Global engineering business is looking to recruit a Finance Business Partner / Financial Analyst to provide the general management with information that will improve the performance of the business. This is a true partnering role where you will be out in the business developing a sound understanding of the business and building relationships with managers and decision makers. The Role
• Provide financial support for any financial/commercial decision relating to your division, with a focus on delivering improved profitability for the specific business area and the wider business
• To prepare forecasts and financial planning
• To provide regular insightful analysis and interpretation of the business results, highlighting opportunities for improved performance
• To improve the financial management of projects and long term contracts
• To provide advice and support in the preparation of tenders
• To ensure the business operates within the financial controls and procedures set by the Group The Candidate
• Business partnering skills with evidence of business improvement
• Knowledge of the manufacturing sector and project accounting
• Qualified Accountant ACA, ACCA or CIMA or QBE
• Strong system skills to include advanced Excel and ideally an ERP system
• Outstanding communication skills and ability to communicate across a business This is a great opportunity if you are looking for a role where you can make a tangible difference to the performance of the company.
