Frimley, Surrey JOB TYPE: 15 to 17 Months Full-Time Temporary Contract JOB OVERVIEW We have a fantastic new job opportunity for a Part-Qualified Accountant / Performance Control Financial Analyst (known within the business as a Performance Controlling Analyst) who is analytical with proficiency in MS Excel (v-lookups, sum-ifs, pivot tables etc.) and has strong verbal and written communication skills. Working as the Part-Qualified Accountant / Performance Control Financial Analyst you will join the team at Frimley that are primarily focused on providing a financial framework to the business processes (budgeting, forecasting and strategic planning) and conducting comprehensive cost controlling. As part of the team, working as the Part-Qualified Accountant / Performance Control Financial Analyst your responsibilities will include the monitoring and analysis of critical business KPI's to manage and control performance, interacting and liaising with all functions / business. DUTIES Your duties and responsibilities as the Part-Qualified Accountant / Performance Control Financial Analyst you: Support Period end close activities (including posting journals, driving improvements to reduce adjustments, producing key reconciliations and supporting balance sheet reviews) Creation of Internal Service Agreements (ISA's) with other Group companies, monitoring costs, performing analysis and ensuring the correct recharge is made Support the internal management reporting process (daily sales (ToGo), flash and expense reporting) Responsibility for controlling costs in local entity including variance analysis and commentary Perform a number of controls as part of the risk and internal control (RIC) process Responsibility for external reporting (Office for National Statistics and tax reporting PAYE settlement agreement) Administration of SAP (cost centre management and purchase order, maintenance, controlling and reconciliation (GRIR)) Support the production of analysis for key stakeholders (e.g. marketing) Provide support to performance controlling team when required CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS Studying Part Qualified Accountant (ACCA or CIMA) Excellent analytical skills Numerate, and highly proficient in the use of Excel (v-lookups, sum-ifs, pivot tables etc.), Word and PowerPoint Experience of finance ERP systems Ability to manage to tight deadlines with confidence under pressure Strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to effectively communicate with both finance and non-finance professionals ABOUT THE COMPANY The Company is a leading global medical technology company.
