Our client in the engineering sector are currently recruiting for an Assistant Management Accountant based in Glasgow city centre with study support. Our client is looking for someone to support the business at month end and provide detailed analysis to allow commercial decisions to be made. This jobs main duties will include;
• Preparation of monthly management accounts.
• Provide detailed analysis on overheads within the business.
• Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts.
• Balance Sheet reconcilliations.
• Maintain the fixed asset register and post depreciations monthly. The role requires someone who is studying, ideally with a small number of exams remaining in ACCA, CIMA or ICAS.
