FINANCIAL CONTROLLER - WOKINGHAM UP TO £70,000 PER ANNUM My client is actively looking to recruit an experienced ambitious Financial Controller who is looking to secure their next role offering future development within this growing international collaborative SME business. To be successful in this role complete ownership of the overall finances of the business within UK and internationally. The position is offering financial support to non-finance stakeholders and senior management taking responsibility for all management accounting activities, looking at ways to improve modelling processes, long term planning, full responsibility of budgeting and forecasting. Reporting to the Managing Director and CEO you will expected to implement and deliver financial rigour, support decision making in line with the needs of the business. Working closely with the COO and Part time CFO to prepare business plans providing proactive, strategic financial advice to improve profitability, future growth. Support with allocated resources and work to reduce costs. Oversight responsibility of the day to day financials Overseeing budgetary control systems and monitor actual data against budgets, plus analyse any variances Support customer service team on forecasting, targets and project profitability, KPI measure and pricing. Senior Management advisor on commercial issues e.g. suppliers and contracts Prepare month-end reconciliations of balance sheet accounts such as accrued and deferred revenue and billings. P&L Analysis Produce high quality financial reporting, MI and KPIs to monitor performance, management accounts, budgeting and financial forecasting Tax Compliance Annual statutory reporting Manage cashflow and financial controls Day to day management of Finance team Experience required As a qualified Financial Controller with proven experience within a Multiple currency and multiple tax jurisdictions. Ideally looking for someone who has media/digital/creative/marketing communications experience combined with the desire to join a growing company with exciting goals to achieve whilst implementing change in a hands on approach. Comfortable making decisions with strong financial modelling experience and reporting into the CEO within an SME culture.
