Financial Controller / Finance Manager SME Burnley Manufacturing / Construction up to £34,000

Your new company
This SME Manufacturing organisation provide Construction services to a wide range of customers within both the public and private sector. They have an established customer base, with an experienced office team, and the business operates successfully with natural growth each year.

Your new role
This position of Financial Controller, will involve you managing one other member of finance who is responsible for the weekly payroll and purchase ledger. Along side overseeing this experienced member of staff, you will be responsible for producing the monthly management accounts which includes the P&L, balance sheet and management pack. You'll also be responsible for monthly stock valuation, cash management including banking and weekly cash flow, monthly payroll and pensions calculations, VAT and finally credit control which will include credit checking new customers and setting limits.

What you'll need to succeed
You'll need to be a friendly person as the team is extremely secure, stable and happy, and fitting into this team will be just as important as the ability to do the job. You will be qualified, or qualified by experience, with experience in the above duties mentioned and the confidence in your own capabilities as you will be the number 1 in finance on site. You'll need to be loyal, and looking for an opportunity that you can settle into the job, that is secure and a job for long term.
