Partner Financial are working with a fast-growing PE backed, multi-site restaurant business who are about to embark on a period of significant change. They are looking to add an experienced Interim Group Financial Controller to the business, in support of the CFO for an initial 3-month period while they search for a permanent successor. The ideal candidate for this role will be practice trained and have extensive experience as a Financial Controller in a multi-site business. Key tasks in the role will include: Take responsibility for financial reporting (internal and external), the annual financial and business planning exercise, monthly forecasting, the Group Audit, performance reviews and value-added monthly management reporting; Ensure external reporting is done to the highest standard and thrive to create a best in class reporting function; Provide support to the CFO and Executive Team ensuring that the controls, systems, processes and team are positioned to provide accurate, timely data, both internally and externally; Manage the external relationships with advisors such as the auditors and attend all meetings involving auditors; Business partnering with Senior Stakeholders at a Global levelto understand their systems, processes and business issues and to challenge the information they report to the Group; Encourage continuous development within your team and the wider finance team as well as making sure you have the right control framework in place; Manage, mentor and coach a team of 10 Ability to think strategically, to make recommendationsand drive change through the organisation in order to help the business prioritise its capital and resources and find efficiencies. The successful candidate will possess the following: A fully qualified accountant with relevant post qualified experience; Big 4 or top 10 Audit experience is highly desirable Experience working in a fast-paced multi-site, restaurant environment as a Financial Controller; Excellent management experience of medium to large teams; Ability to present and explain financial information clearly and accurately, at all levels of management; Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail; Ability to manage and develop a team; A proven track record of building and maintaining key internal and external stakeholder relationships.
