Group Finance Controller London Up to £90,000 per annum bonus The Opportunity: I am partnering with a high-growth technology business who are looking to hire a Group Finance Controller. This company has undergone rapid change in the last year, including a change in ownership and several acquisitions. They are consistently branching into new markets with new products and software; and have created a strong geographical presence. The Role: The Group Finance Controller will work with the CFO, senior leadership team and different department heads to drive the growth of the business; and will also be responsible for the leadership and mentoring of a team of 5. The Group Finance Controller will take ownership for providing high quality financial reporting and analysis to drive decision making within the business, take responsibility for day to day finance and monthly management accounts. Responsibilities:
Oversee the day to day operations of the finance function, ensuring accurate daily reporting of regulatory capital adequacy, bank and client account reconciliations, purchase ledger and cash flow Lead, manage and develop the B2B, B2C, Reporting and Projects Managers so that set short term and long-term goals and tasks are successfully achieved Ensure the monthly management accounts are prepared and submitted in a timely and accurate manner Work closely with the financial reporting heads for all accounts integration and ongoing reporting requirements Oversee the yearly audit for the Group, ensuring it is a smooth and efficient audit process Prepare the annual statutory accounts and related schedules adhering to timetables Drive process improvements with the team Show a commercial mindset with the ability to partner with operational staff to drive the performance of the business About You: Highly numerate and strong analytical skills; comfortable with large sets of data and manipulating data in order to draw meaningful conclusions Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to liaise with all levels of staff across the business Ability to take on systems and improve processes readily Organised, committed with good time management skills Good attention to detail and strong Excel skills Fully qualified accountant (ACA, CIMA, ACCA) SME experience
