Spinneyside Leicester Start: January Job Purpose: The purpose of the role is to maximise cash collection, prevent debt from ageing and reducing bad debt charge. You'll engage customers to negotiate payment, whilst maintaining a great customer relationship. You'll need to facilitate the resolution of a range of customer and industry related queries and help support the customer in remaining debt free. Key Accountabilities: Proactively contact customers both by telephone and in writing. This will require both inbound & outbound calling, email and letters Work with your customers to reduce debt to meet agreed targets Manage both customer and internal queries to resolution within agreed SLA's Responsible for managing a portfolio of customers managing tactical campaigns to progress non-paying customers through our debt collection process' Responsible for tracing liable customers who may have left a site utilising all tools provided and engage them directly for payment Required to work to agreed quality standards and within agreed timescales Responsible for proactively developing and maintaining your specialist collections, industry, business and system knowledge Responsible for managing complaints ensuring these remain compliant within regulatory framework Remain compliant whilst liaising with colleagues, business appointed external agencies, customers and their related third parties Maintain customer related information on systems to the required standards to progress work, maintain accurate records, identify gaps in customers records and proactively collect appropriate information Balance debt collection with great customer service Responsible for growing the business at any given opportunity Who are we looking for: You will need to be a strong and confident individual with a positive outlook You will be organised and logical You will be persistent You will have a background in Credit, Finance or Service You must be able to communicate at all levels You will provide support and act as an ambassador for the credit control department to the wider business You must be highly motivated, and target driven both as an individual and team player Knowledge & Experience Required: You will have knowledge of debt collection techniques and be able to demonstrate excellent negotiation and communication skills You will have knowledge of and be able to manage a range of debt types from new to aged invoices, live (on supply) and final debt (including change of supply and change of tenancy) and seek a resolution to the debt Ajilon Consultant You will be an integral part of Ajilon (Adecco), a FTSE500 Global organisation with over 52 clients and sole supplier to the biggest organisations in the country and the world.
