AJ Chambers are currently searching for a Senior Accountant on behalf of a leading accountancy practice, based in Stevenage. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced accountant to step into a role which offers a high level of responsibility at a well-respected firm, based within the heart of Stevenage, allowing the team to have regular social events and activities. Working for this firm would allow you to engage with a varied outgoing client base with the vast majority being in the media industry. The Role: Managing a client portfolio Preparation of statutory accounts from Trial Balance to Partner review Supporting the management team in filtering the work from junior members to managers Preparing and reviewing corporation tax returns and CT600s Supervising and supporting junior team members The Ideal Candidate: ACA/ACCA Qualified / QBE candidates will be considered Substantial accounts experience gained in an accountancy practice Excellent communication and inter-personal skills Capability of working on initiative and comfortable with deadlines Experience with using IRIS, Sage, Xero, QuickBooks If you feel you would be suitable, please apply direct or contact Aron Pollock at AJ Chambers.
