Our client is a leading global player in the FinTech (Financial Technology) world, who are going through an exciting period of change and currently seek a highly Commercial Finance Manager and Finance Business Partner to drive the decision support function for their European based business units. Role Responsibilities Reporting to the Director, Finance, the Commercial Finance Manager will be a member of the finance team partnering with the Germany/Switzerland and Southern Europe Markets. Working as part of the team your critical responsibilities would include (but not limited to): Assist in the identification of market growth opportunities and perform white space analysis Partner with Sales Enablement on Sales and Account Management ('SAM') performance management program to drive commercial excellence and salesforce effectiveness (efficiency & throughput) - right metrics, measurement system, actions, and follow-through Support of complex commercial engagements. Protect value/price, commercial terms, and the ability to successfully fulfill contractual obligations. Long-term planning and forecasting of Sales, Revenue and expense for the assigned SAM Market organization. Have a view on pipeline (short and long-term) adequacy and quality - hold team accountable to coverage requirements Tracking contract renewals and risk management with insights into risks/opportunities Participate in account planning using KPIs such as data usage, desktop minimum commitments, price achievements etc. and white space analysis to identify and target growth opportunities Own funding plan/budget for SAM resources and appropriate allocation (highest and best use) to drive optimal growth and return to shareholders Implement global SAM commission plan in partnership with HR, Sales Enablement, SAM Commercial Controllership and the Commissions team. Provide insights into industry trends and opportunities (market intelligence), influencing future commercial and product strategy (incl. input to the development of product commercials e.g PAC). Competencies Required - Commercial Finance Manager Excellent attention to detail and problem solving skills Exceptional interpersonal abilities - an ability to communicate effectively with key stakeholders both within and outside Finance Makes confident, fact-based decisions Approaches problems from different perspectives in order to suggest and implement solutions Strong customer focus and work ethic Takes accountability for delivering on commitments; owns mistakes and uses them as opportunities for learning and development Adept at using logic and reasoning to work through problems and analyze information Self-starter and can work autonomously Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting ACA/CIMA/CPA or CFA other qualification in Finance related field required Minimum of 3 years prior experience in a Corporate Finance / Financial Planning & Analysis role within a large, complex global business that work with large data sets Experience onboarding Sales and Marketing functions to a business partnering culture Strong communication skills; both verbal and written, with the ability to clearly and concisely interact with personnel at all management levels Analytical mindset and desire to learn German/French/Spanish or Italian language skills or experience business partnering European countries is essential This is an exceptional opportunity to join a market leading FinTech business who seek a high-calibre candidate in a senior commercial role.
