THE COMPANY: Brewster Partners are recruiting for an Assistant Finance Business Partner for their Cheltenham office in what is a brand new role as a result of growth and acquisition. THE JOB: Supporting the Head of Finance in the preparation of accurate, realistic yet challenging budgets / forecasts your duties will include: Working with the commercial teams to understand the key drivers of income and identify trading risks and opportunities Analysing performance and financial KPIs, challenging and offering guidance to support business growth plans Work closely with MI teams to to ensure accuracy of reporting and consistancy Review monthly P&Ls and provide analysis and commentary to stakeholders Build and maintain strong relationships with business unit leaders Assist with the production of P&L, balance sheet, cash flow, trend analysis Assist with the preparation of annual business plan for business units and quarterly forecasting Improve budget and forecast processes THE PERSON: We are looking for a part or newly qualified accountant with excellent communication skills and a commercial acumen. This role involves working closely with senior members of the business as well as non finance stakeholders throughout the company. You must be a self starter, able to effectively manage your own workload and unafraid to go out into the wider business to understand the way it works, suggesting and implementing improvements.
