If this is relevant for you, just let your recruiter know when you make your application. Your role You will provide modelling, analytics and valuation advisory services to our clients. You will understand our clients' industry and be able to anticipate complex business problems and the issues they face, recommending appropriate action. Responsibilities Providing data analytics and modelling services through the use of software such as SQL, SAS, Tableau, Power BI and Excel to deliver meaningful insights to our clients and help them to understand the risks and key drivers for their business; Development and delivery of new and innovative analytics tools to support evolving audit and regulatory requirements and the changing Banking environment; Helping the Analytics and Modelling team to support our clients in all areas of large data handling and manipulation and to embed analytics into their business and culture; Data integrity testing to provide greater depth of understanding as part of transaction services in both audit and advisory engagements, including across securitisation and regulatory areas such as Asset Quality Reviews and stress testing; Assessing and using historic and macro-economic data to support complex modelling, such as credit risk modelling, asset cash flows and valuations Inputting into the strategy for the Analytics and Modelling team, proposing new areas of growth and innovative solutions Working effectively in diverse teams within an inclusive team culture where people are recognised for their contribution Your work, your choice At Deloitte we believe the best impact is the value we add, not the hours we sit at our desk. Location:
London with occasional domestic and international travel and an option of working from home when appropriate Work pattern: This is a permanent opportunity. The role can be worked on a full-time or part-time basis. Our team members work a variety of agile working patterns. Tell us what arrangement works for you and we'll try to accommodate. Your professional experience Essential Advanced skills in one, or ideally more, of the following in the context of data management and analytics: o SQL o SAS o Tableau o Qlikview o Power BI o MS Excel including VBA Experience of working on complex data driven, analytics and visualisation projects Good knowledge of the financial services industry Exceptional analytical capabilities Ability to partner with clients and build great relationships Proficiency in written and oral communication Desirable Experience in other data science languages such as Python and R, and experience in the use of machine learning concepts such as logistic regression and neural networks and with natural language processing; Knowledge and experience of credit risk (PD/LGD/EAD) modelling; Understanding of regulatory and/or market good practice in the area of credit risk; Understanding of loans, mortgages and similar debt types; Sound knowledge of a range of retail, commercial and corporate banking products; Knowledge of current economic and market trends; Knowledge of audit methodologies Your service line: Audit & Assurance In an industry best known for looking back, Deloitte looks beyond.
