VWR's expansive channel access and deep customer relationships strengthens Avantor's abilities, adding a vital new dimension to the full scope of solutions we can provide-from discovery to delivery.Our Finance Team is looking for a Finance Business Partner for our UK business.Reporting to the UK and Ireland FP&A Director, you will support key commercial decision makers and participate in budget and business plan creation.Role overview:Financial business partner for the UK business Commercial and Operational Teams with the ability to build strong relationships.Working closely with non-finance stakeholders to provide support to key commercial decision makers.Working closely with the Sales Directors to create detailed financial budgets, business plans and forecasts ensuring targets are met by demonstrating a strong commercial understanding of the business unitsMonitor, track and report customer profitability where requiredMonitor, track and report operational cost development and trending and lead dialogue with operational business leads in relation to future costs and cost managementWork with the wider finance group to develop & manage financial reporting activities and KPI's which provide consistency across business units;Provide strong independent advice to Sales Directors and Operational Directors, to ensure good, financially sound business decisions are made.Ensure financial risk & opportunities are documented clearly; drive the delivery of opportunity & support risk migration activityMonth end, quarter end and year end activity as appropriateFinancial evaluations & other ad-hoc analysisEssential Experience:Proven ability and previous experience within a commercial or manufacturing finance role.Previous experience in business partneringCIMA or ACCA part qualified or QBEAnalytical and innovative approach to solutions with excellent systems skills - Advanced Excel.Ability and confidence to translate data into business information which can be used to drive and challenge operational decision makingAbility to develop strongPrioritisation of workload in a fast-paced working environmentProven track record in delivering on commitmentsERP system skills - preferably SAP, Business Warehouse and Qlikview experience preferred but not essential.We will use the personal information that you have submitted to us in order to consider your application for the relevant role.Your privacy is important to us.
