Accounts Assistant Portadown, Co Armagh Full-Time & Permanent 40 hrs per week Salary negotiable Zenrec Exclusive Job Role The Accounts Assistant role is to ensure the smooth running of the finance function. The job holder will be an essential part of a small team providing administrative support to Senior Accounts. Daily duties will involve credit control management for Sales & Purchases, reconciling nominal ledgers, collating & logging all invoices onto the accounts IT system to ensure prompt payment, banking including bank reconciliations, lodgements, receipt and management of all cash along with general administrative duties such as opening, sorting & distributing of post. Criteria:
• Previous experience in an Accounts Assistant role
• Ability to process information accurately and efficiently
• Attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
• Excellent organisational skills
• Ability to work as part of a team
• Computer Literacy
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Packages in particular Excel
• Previous working experience of an Accounts computerised system Preference will be given to those applicants holding or working towards a relevant qualification, ideally IATI qualified, previous experience in a similar role within the automotive industry and working knowledge of the Kerridge/CDK computerised system.
