ACCOUNTS ASSISTANT WATFORD £18,000 - £22,000 PA (DOE) Here at Interaction Recruitment, we are delighted to be working with an established Client in Watford who is looking to expand their small and friendly finance team with the addition of an Accounts Assistant. You will have previous experience within the FMCG / Retail industry where you have had close liaison with the Warehouse Team. Hours: Mon to Fri: 8:30am - 5:00pm / Alternate Saturdays: 9:00am - 5:00pm Day-to-day responsibilities will include: Ensuring that exact products are ordered in accordance to quantity and expiry dates Ensuring accurate orders, quantity and expiry dates are loaded for shipment Leading weekly and monthly stock counts and provide the necessary reporting Assisting in month end and year end tasks - carrying out stock checks in preparation for annual audits Maintenane of Collection Notes, Delivery Notes and Goods Received Purchase Orders Checking Loading files and updating relevant sales orders Reconciliation of stock variations; reviewing and investigating as required Reviewing Damages, Returns and Credit notes in line with supplier and customer service Reporting on stock adjustments Providing real time stock allocation information i.e. daily goods in and out records Maintenance of product codes Assisting with Accounts and Product related projects as required Accounts administration support Skills and attributes required: AAT Qualified or actively studying towards this Strong MS Excel skills (to include V-Lookups, H-Lookups and Pivot Tables) Previous knowledge of SAP (advantageous) Previous experience within the FMCG / Retail industry where you have had close liaison with the Warehouse Team Excellent communication skills - both written and verbal High attention to detail and level of accuracy Ability to multi-task and work with a sense of urgency Happy to help out as and where required in accordance with business needs Willingness to undertake weekend work on a regular basis (although there is some flexibility) You will be working within a collaborative and supportive environment where you really can develop the role and make it Your own. AAT Study support will be provided if required and there is ample scope for career progression if you demonstrate the desired qualities.
