REED Finance are delighted to be working with a leading global software provider who are looking for a Senior Accountant to become a crucial member of their Global finance team. This role will include a wide variety of accounting and finance responsibilities and supporting a team of two. Duties of this role will entail:
• Play a key role in monthly accounting close
• Manage worldwide consolidations and reporting (UK, US, AUS)
• Determine accounting treatment for new contracts
• Handle multi-currency accounting issues
• Support technical accounting determinations
• Support A/R & A/P and collections teams
• Help Finance & Accounting function grow and evolve as the company grows
• Develop new policies & procedures
• Drive continuous improvement projects
• Provide key support for systems implementations including new ERP
• Support accounting for mergers & acquisitions
• Critical role in annual Big 4 audit In order to be considered for this role you will have/be:
• A minimum of 3 years experience in a Senior Accountant position
• Strong general accounting skills
• Experience with IFRS technical accounting (Essential)
• Accounting experience within an international business (Essential)
• Proficiency in Netsuite ERP (Desirable but not Essential)
