We have an opportunity for an Accounts Assistant to join an established and successful business in Iverness. The successful candidate will have a wide range of responsibilities, but will be a strong team player to support colleagues in other areas of the business as and when required. Key Duties as an Assistant Accountant Assisting the accounts manager and financial controller with any projects and business tasks You will be the direct point of contact for customer and business queries Manage any accounts enquires from customers and clients Processing all sales invoices across the network Manage the Purchase ledger and the purchase order process Credit control ensuring all outstanding invoices are chased Vat return assignments as and when required Key Qualities we want in our new Assistant Accountant: The successful candidate must be a strong team player Energetic and enthusiastic Experience in an accounts department preferred AAT Qualification is preferable with a view to further studies Would consider applications from a graduate seeking an entry level opportunity High level of attention to detail and highly organised Accuracy at all times Experience of Sage line 50 and Microsoft Excel and Xero Cloud applications an advantage This is an exciting opportunity with an established business who want to recruit and invest in the right candidate.
