Senior Financial Accountant role in a major insurance business based in the City of London

This is one of the largest reinsurance businesses in the world, with a complex structure ideal for an accounting looking to join an impressive and technically minded finance team. This company is known for keeping and progressing it's people, whilst having a forward thinking mentality pushed by the use of cutting edge technology. This is a newer branch of the business, and they're eager to hire people who can help implement and improve processes, working with different teams to make the business as commercial and strategic as it can be.

Your new role
This is a broad role, including both financial and management reporting, as well as exposure to a range of projects including systems implementation. You'll be reporting to the Financial Controller, a down to earth but progressive individual looking for someone to take on their role in 2 years time as they aim to step up.

Key responsibilities include:

• Owning UK financial reporting and implementing processes and controls
• MI reporting to the board
• Liaising with key decision makers for financials and improving the new operation
• Quarterly reg reporting

What you'll need to succeed
You'll need to be a fully qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) looking to join a new branch of a multinational business where you can implement real change. You will need to have experience preparing accounts, ideally in a group environment.
