An opportunity has arisen for a management accountant to join a luxury cosmetics brand based in central London.

Client Details

My client is an innovative and rapidly expanding ecommerce business that designs, produces and distributes luxury cosmetics. Due to growth, a newly-created Management Accountant role has arisen to support the expansion of the finance function.

Description

• Management of month-end process including: preparation and review of monthly management accounts, forecast

• Overseeing cash flow preparation and managing cash balances;

• Management, compliance and overall responsibility for VAT returns;

• Liaise with payroll provider and management of employee benefits;

• Ownership of monthly management reporting pack, business performance data, including comparison of actual results against plan and previous year, together with commentary, revenue recognition and key performance indicators;
• Assisting with the annual budgeting and monthly forecasting process;
• Prepare year end group consolidation and statutory accounts;
• Manage year-end audit process with external auditors and take to audit sign off;
• Managing relationships with Banks, Payroll provider and HMRC.

Profile

The successfull Management Accountant will have the following:

• Professional finance qualification - either ACA/ACCA/CIMA
• 1-3 years PQE
• Experience working within the ecommerce/fashion retail sector essential
• Stock/inventory management experience essential
• SAGE and/or Xero experience desirable
• Excellent communication skills essential

Job Offer

£50,000 to £60,000 basic salary
