Finance Manager Newcastle under Lyme up to £45,000

Your new company
My client is a fast growing business based in Newcastle under Lyme. Due to recent restructure they are looking for an experienced qualified accountant to join their team as a Finance Manager.

Your new role
As a Finance Manager you will be a key member of the management team,and will report directly to the Group Financial Controller and Finance Director. You will be responsible for management and day to day running of the finance team and monthly reporting for the function. You key duties will include

• Day to day management and supervision of accounts team
• Assistance with the development and managing financial systems
• Group main payroll liaison with payroll provider
• Group day to day cashflow management
• Assisting with long term strategic cashflow forecasting
• Assisting with budget preparation
• Group VAT returns submissions
• Assisting with preparation of monthly group financial statement preparation
• Ensure preparation of periodic financial statements, including profit and loss accounts, balance sheet, variance analysis and commentaries to specific deadlines.
• Month end completion and reporting
• Actual and variance analysis
• Gross profitability analysis
• Fixed assets reporting management
• Operational support and analysis for other departments
• Year-end support with audit

What you'll need to succeed
You will be CIMA, ACCA or ACA qualified accountant with excellent analytical and communications skills, ability to build lasting relationships at all levels, previous experience in team management and a can do attitude.

What you'll get in return
Depending on experience you will get a salary of up to £45k alongside holiday allowance, pension scheme and benefits package.
