Leading Automotive brand in Milton Keynes are on the lookout for a progressive Financial Accountant to join their team!

Client Details

We are partnering with one of the UKs leading automotive brands, based on the outskirts of Milton Keynes. A recent acquisition has created a number of new reporting lines and accountability's, and the team are looking to bring on board a progressive Financial Accountant to work on these.

Description

Financial Accountant Responsibilities:

• Weekly consolidation of cashflow forecasting
• Manage reporting - ensure books are closed each month in line with Group requirements and that accounting entries are complete and accurate
• Assist in managing the outsourced accounting relationships for overseas subsidiaries
• Assist in producing financial statements that are compliant to IFRS / UK-GAAP
• Manage supplier payments (AP) and open items (AR)
• Prepare outgoing invoices for key revenue streams
• Assist in managing tax filings for UK companies
• Provide Ad-hoc reporting/analysis to Head of Finance and other stakeholders
• Prepare FCA and other regulatory returns
• Support finance transformation and consistent improvements to the existing structure

Profile

Financial Accountant Requirements:

• Final stages of ACCA or CIMA
• Previous experience in Manufacturing or Automotive would be advantageous
• Strong systems experience and advanced Excel user
• Experienced in audit processes
• Technically experienced in IFRS
• Progressive and forward-thinking
• Confident in building and maintaining relationships with senior stakeholders, both internally and externally
