We are currently recruiting for an Internet Service Provider based in Exeter who are looking for an Accounting Assistant and Fixed Asset Accountant to join their team. Role The key focus of the role will be; Accounting Assistant- Supporting the Financial Controller to ensure accurate and up to date financial records and financial reports. Fixed Asset Accountant- Working within the accounting team, focusing on Fixed Asset Accounting. Responsibilities Accounting Assistant Managing the accounts function Preparing monthly reconciliations, VAT returns & analysing variances Managing cash flow forecasts and preparing bank payments Fixed Asset Accountant Ensuring completeness of fixed assets sub ledger and month-end closing activities (Account reconciliations, Journal entries etc) Preparing monthly reports for ongoing capital projects (actuals v budgets) Analysis of results, trends and margins Budget preparing including liaising and aligning input across departments Experience Accounting Assistant 5 years' experience in general accounts Experience with Microsoft Dynamics Strong computer skills (MS Excel in particular) Fixed Asset Accountant 5 years accounts experience Salary Accounting Assistant Up to 32k Fixed Asset Accounting Up to 35k
