My client is looking for an experienced Project Accountant to come on board for an interim period. The role will be around project finance with associated billing and accounts receivable. The right candidate will be comfortable thinking on their feet and working under pressure to resolve issues, as well as billing and reconciling multiple jobs. Job Description: - Oversee sales invoicing - Review credit control/ receivables and escalate any aged debtors of concern - Review accrued and deferred income - Set up, prepare for monthly WIP meetings - Review and authorise project related purchase orders - Produce monthly KPI reports i.e. utilisation, number of new jobs/ opportunities - Monitor and update data (PM System), including analysis codes, project leads, start and finish dates, hours, flags and budgets - Close projects on completion and perform (time/cost/profit) analysis - Communicate professionally, swiftly and proactively with the client and finance administrative teams - Create and update client financial updates on a monthly basis Additional Skills and Experience: - Strong excel skills is essential - Experience with Sage 50 is desirable but not essential
