£28,000 - £32,000 per annum My Client is a well-established practice, based in Hitchin. We are offering the successful candidate an opportunity to join a progressive firm that provides its clients with consultancy and advisory services as well as compliance services. This opportunity would suit a forward-thinking Semi-Senior who is looking to progress to a more responsible role. You will be working within a small team of professionals providing first class customer service to a portfolio of clients. Daily Duties: Day to day servicing of a portfolio of SME businesses and their owners Accounts Preparation Production of monthly management accounts VAT Returns Payroll and bookkeeping when required Supervision, training and development of junior team members The Candidate: AAT qualified or ACA/ACCA qualified/part qualified Experience of working in Practice Commitment to delivering outstanding customer service Exceptional communication, organisational and management skills A positive, supportive attitude The ability to work as part of a team Good technical knowledge Working knowledge of Iris practice software Working knowledge of one of the major proprietary bookkeeping packages ideally Xero Good skills in MS Word, MS Excel and MS Outlook This vacancy is being managed by Ashleigh Farmer at Spear Recruitment Ltd.
