Selective Recruitment has just registered an exciting opportunity for a Tax Senior/Assistant Manager to join a well-established company on a Permanent Full-Time basis. You will be reporting to the Senior Tax Manager, and will involve contributing to the provision of an excellent range of tax services to a diverse set of clients and providing support for the Senior Tax Manager. The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate initiative and good judgement when carrying out tasks on the client's behalf. Offer package; Position: Tax Senior/ Assistant Manager

Salary:
£40,000 - £60,000 per annum

Reading Duration: Permanent Primary responsibilities; Being the first point of contact for a portfolio of clients Preparing annual tax returns and managing the client lists in order to meet the submission deadlines Obtaining missing information from the client, third parties or within in the firm as appropriate Dealing with annual reporting for Form 42 and ATED Reviewing Corporation Tax Returns and Corporation Tax Computations prepared by the accounts team Identifying tax planning opportunities for clients (individuals, businesses, companies, etc.) Preparing/amending and/or approving letters and emails for the senior manager's approval Drafting replies to client or third party correspondence, seeking further input as appropriate Electronically filing tax returns Assisting in dealing with enquiries raised by HMRC Monitoring chargeability on a weekly basis Assisting the Tax Partners and Managers with various ad hoc work as it arises such as technical research, reorganisations, reconstructions, transfer pricing and R&D claims Candidate specification; GCSE English and Maths grades C or above Ideally ATT Qualified Minimum 2-3 years' experience working in a tax environment Excellent verbal and written communication skills Good attention to detail Business entrepreneurship and commercial awareness If you are interested in the Tax Senior role and believe you have the suitable skills and experience to be considered, then please apply.
