Purchase Ledger Clerk - Leamington Spa £23,000 - £28,000pa Pension, Free Parking, Bonus About our client We are currently supporting our Warwickshire client in their quest to recruit an experienced Purchase Ledger Clerk to join their team. Our client is a privately owned business who have been operating for over 70 years and has a reputation for providing high-quality products as well as a first-class service to their customers too. They have established strong relationships with many of the local and regional businesses and offer a consultative and "Customer-focused" approach. Due to an internal promotion, they have the need to recruit an experienced Purchase ledger Professional. What your role will involve You will be joining a small team of experienced finance professionals, with many years of experience of working within finance roles. Reporting to the Finance Manager, your responsibilities will include:- Matching delivery notes to invoices and distributing for approval Nominal coding and posting of invoices Supplier statement reconciliations Processing BACS and Cheques payments Query resolution Entering sub-contractor payments Month End reporting Petty Cash control Assisting the wider finance function as required About you This is a fantastic opportunity if you enjoy assuming full responsibility for the entire Accounts Payable ledger from start to finish. To be considered you will need to an experienced Accounts Payable professional with a passion for delivering a great service to your customers (internal and external). Our client will offer training on their finance system although any previous experience of HMRC CIS schemes would be highly advantageous. You will need to be comfortable working at times under your own supervision but equally happy to rally round your colleagues to ensure the wider finance responsibilities are completed on time and in an accurate manner.
