Producing & reporting timely, accurate monthly management accounts and preparation of IFRS and Solvency quarterly, half-year and full year reporting information for submission to the Group Reporting Team for the Group Functions ledgers Responsible for ensuring alignment & reconciliations between key IT systems (Peoplesoft, Tagetik) Manage inter-company process including recharges, prepare quarterly VAT returns Preparation and review of accounting deliverables including Balance Sheet reconciliations (monthly) Implement and embed strong financial controls across Group Functions Finance Teams Business Partnering : Support global functions & associated cost centres Assist function heads & cost centre managers - understand monthly results, year-to-date results, forecast end of year performance, business planning Provide analysis & challenge cost centre managers to support resource allocation decisions Identify and quantify opportunities for cost savings Key financial support to Group Reward team, producing analytics and forecasts on remuneration schemes About you.... Qualified Accountant (ACCA, ACA, CIMA), 2 years PQE Good Excel skills Experience of statutory financial reporting, & understanding of IFRS Ability to work effectively under pressure, managing conflicting tasks/requests and meet strict deadlines Experience in implementing strong financial controls and improving the efficiency of standard monthly/quarterly processes Good relationship building, presentation and communication skills to establish good rapport with non-financial oriented individuals and other Bupa finance teams.
