• Closing Date: 15th November 2019 Summary The organisation is looking to bring in a dedicated resource at a Finance Manager level who will support the Chief Finance Officer with the enhancement of financial processes and systems, with the ongoing development of a management reporting pack to analyse performance of the organisation by site and service type, with the Commercial Finance Manager responsible for reporting this information monthly to the PMM Senior Management Team. As the organisation is going through a period of growth and service development, the Commercial Finance Manager will need to support with comprehensive commercial modelling and analysis. Key Responsibilities Financial Reporting
• Producing regular information packs for the management team including reporting revenue and gross profit % by site and service, overall P&L position, debtor and creditor reports
• Ongoing development and enhancement of reporting information as required to support business needs
• Introduce a budgeting and forecasting process across the organisation Financial Management
• Overall responsibility for PMM cash flow management including development of regular cash flow forecasts
• Support Finance Officer with cash collection and liaising with customers with regards to overdue amounts. Engagement with debt recovery organisations as required. Overall responsibility for debtor days position and reporting of debtor balances at month end
• Work with Operations Managers, Stock Controller and Business Manager to negotiate prices with suppliers and internal stock level management including performing risk assessment of potential customers
• Work with Operation Managers to identify workforce requirements and management of labour spend within these requirements Commercial Analysis
• Review and analyse profitability and cash flow across the different sites and services, making recommendations where these areas can be improved
• Support PMM Senior Management team with commercial modelling and analysis including workforce analysis for new business and service development
• Assist the PMM Senior Management team in producing business plans based on key financial reports

Your Profile To succeed in this role, you will have experience of providing financial support to (and communication with) a variety of levels of management and teams. Alongside this, you will demonstrate the ability to quickly build and maintain working relationships with a wide range of people operating with organisational sensitivity. You must always have a proactive approach and a strong attention to detail. Criteria
• Part Qualified ACCA / CIMA
• At least 5 years proven experience within a similar role in Healthcare
• Ability to analyse large volume of complex financial information from multiple sources and create reports, forecasts, and projections
• Strong cash flow management & analysis; proven negotiation and influencing skills in relation to credit control and agreements with new suppliers
• Work with and develop costing and pricing models as appropriate to support accurate assessments and development of new and existing products and services, projects and business opportunities, with a sound understanding of accounting principles, i.e. GAAP
• Strong report writing and oral communication skills, with an eye for detail
• Strong problem-solving skills, including ability to effectively address any issue in collaboration with others as appropriate; ability to proactively identify and prevent potential problems; ability to help develop problem solving skills among direct reports and other team members as appropriate.
• Ability to take initiative to identify, prioritize and implement of financial management to support organizational strategy
• A pro-active approach with an ability to take ownership and develop and implement finance processes and policies
• Detail oriented and organized, ability to work in a fast-paced, demanding and dynamic environment
• Ability to develop presentations and effectively present to all levels of company, external stakeholders & owners.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills (all levels of management and external customers and suppliers).
• Knowledge of SAGE, Microsoft Query, ODBC and SQL queries for report building and analysis
• Strong MS PowerPoint and MS Excel skills, experience building macros is preferred but not essential
• Proven skills in use and improvement of financial systems, exploring new technologies and innovation to enhance and develop finance processes with seamless integration
