Role: Tax Adviser within Practice

£25,000 to £40,000 (basic salary is dependant on experience)

Then this is the role for you My Client are looking for a Tax Adviser to join their growing team. Your duties will include working with a varied portfolio of Clients completing all tax returns and also offering Clients bespoke Tax planning and advice. Listed below is a summary of what the role would encompass: Corporation Tax compliance - responsible for the preparation of Corporation Tax Returns for a range of owner managed businesses and UK subsidiaries of overseas groups with turnover between £1m - £40m. Responsible for ensuring all Corporation Tax Returns are completed and filed before the filing deadline. Responsible for ensuring clients are advised of Corporation Tax payments to be made including instalment payments. Self-Assessment Tax Returns - assist the Personal Tax manager with the preparation of Self-Assessment Tax Returns. Capital allowance reviews - review costs associated with property purchases or refurbishments to determine capital allowance treatment of costs. P11D's - preparation of P11D's, preparation of PAYE Settlement Agreements and the provision of PAYE advice regarding Benefits in kind etc. VAT - dealing with VAT registrations, de-registrations and at hoc VAT queries that arise with our clients Person Specification: 3 years' experience working within Accountancy Practices Previously worked a similar role ATT or CTA Part-Qualified/Qualified Be Client orientated This vacancy is being managed by Charlotte Roscoe at Spear Recruitment Ltd Spear Recruitment Ltd is an Employment Agency acting as such under the Employment Act 2008 and Employment Agencies Act 1973.
