They are now recruiting for a talented Assistant Accountant to join their finance team based in the west-end of London. Role After a series of success, my client is looking to recruit a progressive Assistant Accountant to join their dynamic finance team. The individual shall be responsible for a number of duties including: Leading the preparation of monthly management accounts Perform and ensure monthly balance sheet reconciliations are up to date Build strong relationships with stakeholders internally / externally Assist and submit VAT returns Posting journals, accruals and prepayments Completing variance analysis for revenue Profile The ideal profile for this Assistant Accountant position should have the following attributes: Excellent academic background; 2.1 degree and higher from a Russell group / red-brick university. Strong A-level results within numerical related subjects 2 year's experience within a similar capacity assisting with management accounts preparation Highly numerate, proactive and articulate Strong experience with the use of Excel Salary & Benefits £30,000 to £33,000 plus benefits including: Study support package Monthly team socials / events Gym membership Annual office & ski trips The salary range/rates of pay is dependent upon your experience, qualifications or training .
