Accounts Assistant
Location:
Ely Hours: 9 - 5:30 Monday to Friday
Salary:
up to £22,000 per annum Duration: Temp to perm This Ely-based role is in a small Accounts team within a large expanding construction company. The business continues to grow since its beginnings ten years ago, with a workforce of over 50 employees, and still retains its family-friendly company culture. The role is initially for a temporary term with a view of going onto a permanent contract. As an accounts assistant you will be responsible for: Purchase ledger including subcontractor labour Inputting and preparing weekly subcontractor payments and staff expenses Collate weekly timesheets from onsite operatives ready for payroll Preparing monthly supplier payment runs Dealing with PO and invoice queries Bank reconciliation CIS Returns Assisting with annual accounts auditsThe ideal candidate will have experience using Sage50 software and Sage 50 Cloud payroll, and have a proven track record in accounts. Payroll and pension experience is advantageous and a good working knowledge of Excel is a must. The business offers great benefits including private healthcare after 3 months, free parking close to amenities and transport links, training and developmental opportunities and more.
