Company Entrepreneurial SME based in Bristol has a newly created opening for a Head of Finance. Reporting to the Managing Director, you will be responsible for managing the finance agenda for three subsidiaries, working across multiple stakeholder groups and supporting commercial decision making. Role Working alongside the Managing Director, you will coach and lead a small finance team and ensure that a constructive and informative Finance Board Pack is produced each month and presented to the Board. Providing insight and challenge at Board level to ensure that the company selects appropriate and profitable strategies, you will analyse results against budget and recommend changes to improve financial performance, ensure financial systems comply with group policies and are efficient and have appropriate controls and importantly oversee the cashflow to ensure that the company operates within its cash resources at all times. About You Suitably qualified, you will ideally have held leadership roles in a SME environment and have strong experience of financial modelling. Able to work at pace whilst maintaining an accurate, high quality output, you will be a passionate leader of people and be comfortable working across a diverse stakeholder group. Self-motivated, with a flexible work ethic, you will work effectively with others in and around the team.
