Head of Credit Risk / Lending / Risk / Automotive / Finance / North West London / 80K to 125k / Bonus & benefits My client, a leading independent automotive finance provider are currently recruiting for an experienced Head of Credit to join and lead their expanding Credit & Risk team. You will be based in their North/North West London office on a permanent basis. You will be working closely with other members of the credit team and reporting directly to the CEO whilst assisting the company in achieving it's business goals through underwriting, portfolio management and reporting. Summary My client is looking for an experienced Head of Credit / Senior Credit Manager with significant track record in underwriting high value assets for high net worth individuals. You will be an excellent communicator and will bring enthusiasm and a strong work ethic to this small and dynamic team. Day to day
responsibilities:
Overseeing the underwriting process within the companies credit policy framework Analyse and assess potential large clients and assist in making the main lending decision Prepare monthly credit reports for the CRO and larger stakeholder environment as well as present the portfolio analytics and initiatives at the risk committee Manage the client experience and whole credit journey for the company portfolio Organise the credit team meetings whilst documenting and addressing issues Provide continuous reviews and feedback on credit and RV policies as the business moves forward Liaise across other departments such as the sales, sales support and introducers to maximise client trajectory and experience Qualifications and skillset: Strong experience within a familiar underwriting role within credit or risk Experience of working with an asset lender or bank and in particular, with high net worth individuals Currently leading a team of underwriters (Credit managers/ junior underwriters/ associates Experience of operating under a tiered mandate structure Strong reporting, documenting and reporting skills Excellent interpersonal/communication skills Always highly organised with strong attention to detail Can work under pressure to tight deadlines Confident in delivering clear and defined outcomes Please don't hesitate to send an up to date CV for immediate consideration.
