Kier Education Services Limited is part of the Kier group and has an annual turnover of approx. £10M per annum supplying design, project management and a schools FM service to its local government client. We are currently looking to recruit for an Assistant Accountants to join the team in our office in Hackney on a 4-month fixed term contract. In this exciting and busy role, you will be responsible for preparing weekly and monthly reporting in line with Kier's procedures and timetable. You will also be compiling balance sheet reconciliations and support the operational business working closely with the Project Manager and budget holders. Who are we looking for? To really make the most of this role, you will have experience within a similar environment and be studying for a recognised formal Accounting qualification. You will also hold good knowledge of modern accounting systems, with strong variance analysis capability with proven ability to produce and interrogate both profit & loss and balance sheet accounts.
