Our client is a Global Leader within the hospitability sector and is looking to secure a new candidate to work within the Client Growth and Innovation Function. The function looks at retaining existing clients and developing new relationships. Within the role of Commercial and Strategy Analyst you will belong to a function who wish to develop and transform the area to deliver twice the revenue within the next 5 years working with International Clients The main objective of the role is to support the Head of Strategic Projects & Global Sales Business Partner by delivering the data, analysis, coordination and systems support to drive various projects and new business development opportunities. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Strategic Projects Lead the collection of internal and external data to measure and benchmark major organisational critical metrics and keep track of client contract performance, evolution of market developments and opportunities. Support project management, data-gathering, analytics and research for various ad-hoc projects. Global Sales & Retention Develop sophisticated templates to be completed by country sales/finance teams from which to respond to RFP requests. Coordinate the collation of all required documents and proposals and ensure timelines are being followed. Review the submitted proposals from countries and compare to benchmarks. Perform complex consolidations of country RFP responses for review by the Head of Strategic Projects & Global Sales Finance Business Partner. Build positive relationships with sales/finance contacts across the Group to ensure high engagement and collaboration in bid processes. Systems Ensure the completeness, accuracy and timeliness of country financial submissions into the reporting system. Provide reporting system support and basic training to the International Client & in-country Finance Business Partners and reporting teams. Maintain, update and test the reporting system to ensure it satisfies the latest internal and external reporting requirements. Input financial and non-financial data into the reporting system as required. Support with the development and maintenance of a new online client dashboard as part of the International Client offer. IDEAL EXPERIENCE Degree Educated. The successful candidate should have delivered: Advanced MS-Excel (SUMIFS, SUMPRODUCT, INDEX, MATCH, Tables, Array formulas, VBA etc.), PowerPoint skills (creating high-quality presentations) and previous experience using BI (Business Intelligence) systems. They should have the ability to fully understand and take ownership of large volumes of commercial information and have a very keen eye for detail. The successful candidate should have a hunger to learn quickly and deliver added value. CAPABILITIES Ability to work confidently in a fast paced and ambiguous environment. Strong oral and written communication skills. Excellent level of numeracy, with strong analytical skills - ability to interpret raw data and leverage it to produce analysis. Dynamic self-starter who can manage a range of competing priorities and projects. A person with unquestionable integrity, credibility and character whom the organization can trust without reservation. Demonstrates sound judgment, high moral and ethical behavior. Shows optimism and drive to reach solutions at the right pace on the right things Has a strong work ethic and takes accountability for actions. Experiments to improve things and do them in new ways to build the best outcomes.
