Chinese Mandarin speaking Finance Officer with Accounts Payable, Bank Reconciliation, Bookkeeping (AAT, MAAT or similar) and VAT/Tax expertise is highly sought by a multiple award winning games studio based in Birmingham who are the UK's largest privately owned mobile e-gaming company We currently have just over 300 employees here at our Birmingham HQ and we offer some of the UK's best career progression plans. In this position, you will work within our close-knit, highly skilled Finance department where you will provide a full Accounts Payable service to include accurate and timely payment of supplier invoices, expenses and payment requisitions. In addition, you will be responsible for the preparation and reconciliation of bank accounts on a daily basis, investigate and resolve any un-reconciled invoices and post all bank transactions (inc direct debits, bank transfers, standing orders etc.). You will also have the opportunity to work closely with our Accountants and prove support as and when required, including preparing ledgers for month end close-down. This opportunity would ideally suit someone with 2 years' commercial experience in a similar role, with a bookkeeping qualification (AAT, MAAT or similar) and have a proactive, logical approach to work and be solutions focused as you will have the opportunity to learn from the existing team with lots of opportunity to progress your career as we continue to grow as a market leading technology company and a top technology employer of choice. Key skills we're looking for Previous experience in a similar Finance role (inc. Accounts Payable and Bank Reconciliations). Hold a professional bookkeeping qualification (AAT, MAAT or similar). Good communication skills and logical approach to problem solving. Fluent Chinese Mandarin speaking (to liaise with overseas suppliers). Bonus points for... Knowledge of Sage systems.
