A global services provider based East of the city centre currently seek a temporary to permanent Finance Assistant to start as soon as possible. The company work a 35 hour week, have free on site parking and flexible working hours. This role will support a large Finance team with day to day reconciliation's and adhoc finance tasks. The main duties of the role are as follows:
• Responsibility of reconciling Bank and General Ledger accounts on a daily basis
• Preparation of payments
• Ensuring balances are as expected, understanding and fixing issues that may arise
• Supporting process Improvement
• Supporting on adhoc project work The successful candidate:
• Have good inter-personal skills and be an effective communicator
• Have attention to detail and accuracy
• Have the ability to work well under pressure, within tight deadlines
• Can learn new systems quickly and deal with change
• Are proficient with Excel (pivots, sumifs, vlookup)
• Are organised and have a systematic approach to problem solving It would be advantageous that candidates have had previous experience of working in a treasury function or have worked in a high volume, large transaction processing team. Candidates MUST have experience of reconciliation's and must be able to start work ASAP. This role is initially temporary but if successful, the right candidate will be offered a permanent contract For more information please call me on .
