We have an excellent opportunity for a Part Time Bookkeeper/Personal Assistant to work for a private commercial and residential property and investment business based in the Henley on Thames. This role will be to start on the 2nd January, working 15 hours per week - hours to suit and days to suit You will be reporting directly to the Managing Director and will benefit from: £10.25 to £13.00 per hour (dependent upon experience) Free parking, 20 days holiday per annum (pro rata) and contributory pension scheme. The role will entail: Bookkeeping duties: Invoicing, collection and recording of rental income Reconciling customer accounts Chasing of overdue accounts Preparing and processing BACs payments Reconciling supplier statements VAT Returns Credit card reconciliations Bank reconciliations Liaising with external accountants PA responsibilities will include: Diary management Email management Typing of Correspondence (MS Office suite) Extensive telephone liaison with tenants and contractors Ordering of stationary Filing Photocopying Basic IT support Assisting with charitable interests Other administrative projects This role would be well suited to an experienced bookkeeper who enjoys a varied role with excellent organisation and attention to detail. Due to the nature of the business it is important that the successful candidate is personable, has excellent communication skills and is able to multi task to reach business objectives. The ideal candidate will have a thorough understanding of the processes above and a real passion for what they do, working knowledge of Quick Books will be essential Good working environment in brand new office space.
