Robert Half are working with a leading staffing organisation based in Bristol who are looking to recruit an Interim Finance Manager an initial 56 month engagement. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced contractor looking for their next interim opportunity. Role Duties include but are not limited to; - Preparation of the group monthly management accounts including all month end closedown procedures and reconciliations in line with the finance monthend timetable - Produce monthly finance pack for inclusion in the board pack - Attend and provide an overview of the companys finances at the monthly board meetings - Production of the group year end accounts and all supporting information and schedules as required by the auditors. - Lead liaison with the auditors during the annual audit - Management of daily cash flows and weekly cash flow forecasts. - Ensure that all transactional, payroll and VAT/taxation requirements are met - Approval of bank payments e.g. contractor payroll, purchase ledger, payroll - Coordinating and assisting with the preparation of annual PSA and P11D schedules - Management of the finance team including quarterly PDR reviews and regular team meetings - Conduct the final thorough check of payroll before distribution of payslips and finalisation in sage 50 payroll - Distribution of payslips outside of core office hours - Assist with the Y/E payroll procedures - Adhoc cover of all aspects of the finance department as and when required Profile - Ideally ACA/CIMA/ACCA accredited but will consider those partqualified or qualified by experience - Demonstrated high levels of integrity and the ability to operate with confidential information - Excellent Excel skills with confidence to understand and create complex spreadsheets; - Ability to work to deadlines and stand back and review own work; and - Ability to work with others, within and outside the finance department Company Our client is an established and successful organisation with a UK wide presence.
