Luton Job Sector: Finance Hours: 35 per week As the FP&A Analyst, you will contribute to our vision of being the leading residential property manager, as recognised by others by: Providing an exceptional business partnering and central financial support service to divisional finance functions and operational managers, assisting budget holders to exceed their deliverables and take corrective measures where appropriate. Maintaining and enhancing existing reporting and planning capabilities, focussing on high value and high risk areas and ensuring alignment with strategic company objectives. Optimising existing systems and processes by improving data flow and operational efficiency, and driving the creation and robust implementation of new initiatives. This role reports to the FP&A Manager. About You: As you are a qualified or part qualified accountant, with significant experience, you are commercially minded with an excellent ability to business partner and influence. As you possess strong modelling, reporting and analysis skills you have the ability to present complex information in a meaningful and digestible format, as well as knowledge of developing budgets, forecasting and executive monthly packs. Having experience of using financial systems and building automated reports from data within, means you can identify process inefficiencies and drive improvement programmes. You are a confident, articulate communicator - able to build relationships and challenge assertively and have excellent IT and technology skills with a passion for systems. Main Responsibilities Run and improve the month end reporting and analysis process, ensuring thorough understanding of group and divisional results including P&L, balance sheet, cash flows and KPIs. Maintain and develop a robust and accurate forecasting model. Oversee planning cycles ensuring high quality and timely output from divisions and supervising Property Centre. Maintain and enhance existing reporting to improve management information. Establish a business partnering and influencing culture in the FP&A team. Analysis of trends and leading indicators to assess past and future performance. Work with the transactional team to improve processes and accuracy of information. Undertake analysis of investment or growth initiatives and make recommendations as appropriate. Develop thorough understanding of current systems and capabilities to drive improvement. Support M&A activity and be the finance lead in wider business projects.
