Assistant Management Accountant Based: Preston

Salary:
Up to £25,000 plus FULL STUDY SUPPORT Our client, a reputable and fast growing business based in the Preston area are currently looking for a confident and pro active Assistant Accountant to join their team on a permanent basis. The position on offer is reporting to a Management Accountant on a daily basis and involves the following duties: Role: Business partnering across the business with Project Managers, Quantity Surveyors and Cost Engineers. Take responsibility for the timely completion of information for the Monthly Management Accounts including; Aid to develop both the budgeting and forecasting processes for projects. Support the project team to ensure projects are run according to group policy and financial standards. Report on project variances Supporting a variety of financial projects designed to improve current processes and systems. Support in areas such as annual, project, and internal audit process. Support the wider finance function, to aid in the delivery of accurate financial and management information. Support the bid process with financial reports, compliance and challenge financial data. This role would suit someone AAT Qualified looking to study further onto CIMA/ACCA and join a fantastic company in their local area.
