Clark Wood is working with firm of Accountants in Cambridge who are recruiting for an Accounts & Tax Assistant to join the team. Working in the Business Services Team in Cambridge you will assist a wide variety of individuals and businesses including manufacturing, construction, and technology businesses, professional firms, medical practices, charities and farms. Thus meaning the role can offer you exposure to a broad portfolio of work. This position has a particular focus on developing personal tax skills and will involve preparation of self-assessment tax returns, P11D's and assistance with general tax compliance matters. There will also be the potential to become involved in the preparation of financial accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies, along with corporation and personal tax compliance. There will also be some bookkeeping work and preparation of VAT returns for clients. Some of the duties may be carried out at clients' premises so a full clean driving licence will be necessary.
