Summer internship program to develop a foundational understanding of financial concepts and processes and gain a well-rounded view of various finance functions within the company. This internship program will provide the opportunity to work with experts in various disciplines such as Financial Planning & Analysis, Program Finance, Accounting and Operations Finance. Job Responsibilities Consolidate, review and provide guidance to multiple domestic and foreign sales sites with specific emphasis on income statement. Prepare and be prepared to present financial packages for local leadership and Collins leadership to include recommendations about theme, key points, risks and opportunities, etc. Prepare monthly, quarterly, yearly and long range forecasts and business plans Ability to interface with middle and senior level management and articulate financial information in a clear and concise manner. Assess business processes to identify ways to more accurately forecast, analyze and report results. Identify opportunities to leverage software system efficiencies Manage Corporate requests and communication to ensure consistency of messaging and adherence to overall Corporate goals and initiatives Work with Value Streams to identify risks and opportunities to close gaps or make Leadership aware of potential headwinds to execution of targets Ability to interface with middle and senior level management and articulate financial information in a clear and concise manner. Embrace the ACE culture and use tools to improve existing planning process and results Basic Qualifications Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and student must be pursuing a Bachelor's or advanced degree in an applicable discipline.
