Job Description Discuss and review the cost structures of new products being developed by the Innovation team. Calculate product costings and present the overall costs and margin of the products to the management. Look for opportunities to drive cost savings across the value chain and improve profitability. Set up the standard costing process in SAP so that actual performance is monitored through the system. Manufacture would be at third party locations in Malaysia and Vietnam. Post launch of products, looking at costing variances and understanding the drivers of change. Desired Profile ICWA essential. Qualification in chartered accountancy desirable. At least 5 years of overall experience with hands-on experience managing product costing and variance reviews in manufacturing plants operating in the FMCG business. Experience in working with R&D as a finance partner would be a clear advantage. Hands on experience in SAP with understanding of standard costing and material modules. Knowledge of FI/CO essential. Excellent understanding and working knowledge of MS Excel. Ability to organise workload and prioritise tasks based on the criticality of the requirements. A proactive approach to problem-solving with strong decision-making skills. Excellent communication skills (verbal and written), with the ability to work across cultures/countries
