Description
Assistant Group Accountant responsibilities:
- Ensure key steps in the consolidation of the group's results are performed accurately and in line with monthly reporting timetables including intercompany matching and calculation of unrealised profit in stock
- Assist with preparation and analysis of the group's statutory reporting
- Act as a key interface between group finance teams
- Act as financial accountant for ERP implementation project, responsible for monitoring and reporting of costs incurred, comparison against budget and forecasting
- Support senior management with ad hoc finance tasks and projects
- Preparation of statutory accounts for UK holding companies
- Assistance with technical accounting matters such as revenue recognition procedures
- Assisting the Group Finance Manager with various ad hoc tasks and projects
- Management of group compliance software
- Management of group expense software
